What Is Top 10X10 Like?
Top 10X10 consists of timed intervals of five exercises per 2-minute round. Using heavy and light dumbbells, mats and bands, this workout moves around your mat. You’ll compete with yourself (and maybe a buddy or two) during the rounds as you progress and “beat” your reps.

Is Top 10X10 a Good Workout?
TOP 10X10 delivers some serious results!
- Cardiovascular Conditioning. Because heart rate remains elevated even during the recovery aspects of HIIT training, participants’ hearts get a workout! This leads to a lower resting heart rate, lower blood pressure, and higher VO2 max. Cardiovascular training lowers blood pressure, strengthens the heart muscle, and bolsters the immune system.
- Strength. The strength training component of Top 10X10, especially plyometric exercise, builds bone density, boosts metabolism, and increases lean muscle mass.
- Banded Lower Body Strength. Bands emphasize a different phase of work, at the end of the arc of movement (where the band is most taut), rather than free weights, which emphasize the beginning of the arc of movement.

What Should I Wear to Top 10X10?
Come ready to play. Typically, people wear sweat-wicking clothing that will offer ample coverage and will stay put and allow you to move with ease throughout the range of motion of exercises.
Cross Training Gym Shoes. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes that offer support and stability as you sprint, leap and lunge during class.
What do I need to Bring?
Hydrate, my friend! Make sure you have plenty of water with you. Also, pack a towel in your gym bag to catch that sweat! Most importantly, bring a great attitude and smile to share.
